Dogs Deserve Better

 1-5pm at the Eagle’s Nest in Chesapeake

to help support

Dogs Deserve Better of Smithfield

Volunteers are needed to help the wonderful staff at Dogs Deserve Better

raise funds for their cause.  This event will be hosted by Stephanie Taylor of

Eagle 97.3 and includes:

 Performances by: Alec Edmonds, Bria Kelly, & Donna Hughes

 Elle the 2013 Hallmark Channel dog of the year

 Mechanical Bull Contest

 Celebrity Dog Wedding

 Raffles and Prizes

Volunteers are needed to:

1. Please wear a PINK T-shirt so we can keep track of each other.

2. Help sell treat bags or dog bones with ribbons for the celebrity dog

wedding.

3. Dog Sitting- while the guests enjoy themselves inside.

4. Help with any poop accident in the grassy area. (for donations)

*The cost for this event is $20 and includes the buffet and

2 drinks!*

Girl Scout Sunday

Girl Scout Sunday will be held on Sunday, March 8 at Trinity UMC. Scouts are invited to any of the three services that day: 8:30, 9:30 or 11:00. Girls will participate during the service by reciting the Girl Scout Promise and leading the congregation in a responsive reading. I have attached a flyer for this event as well as the responsive reading. All scouts (past or present) in the congregation will be recognized.

Please encourage your scouts to attend!!
